Dear WCCUSD Teamsters,
Thank you for your participation in the vote to ratify your contract — we had unprecedented turnout. The contract has passed with 93% voting yes. Each negotiations is an opportunity to better the wages and working conditions of classified staff. It is crucial to keep our seat at the table and make our needs known.
We would not have made so much progress without the constant feedback and support of the members who showed up to Steering Committee meetings, school board meetings, and who made their voices heard in every single survey we sent out.
I want to give a special thanks to the Bargaining Committee and Local 856 Representatives:

We are only as strong as our members, and your Bargaining Committee was unrelenting at the table.

Gracias por su participación en la votación para ratificar su contrato. Tuvimos una participación sin precedentes. El contrato ha pasado con 93% votando sí. Cada negociación es una oportunidad para mejorar los salarios y las condiciones de trabajo del personal clasificado. Es importante mantener nuestro asiento en la mesa y que se sepa nuestras necesidades.
No hubiéramos progresado tanto sin la voz y el apoyo de los miembros que asistieron a las juntas del comité directivo, las juntas de la mesa escolar y quienes dieron su opinión cada encuesta que enviamos.
Quiero dar una gracias especial al comité de negociación y a los representantes del Local 856:
