San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Board of Supervisors President Norman Yee have appointed Local 856 Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Officer Peter Finn to the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Task Force. The task force is charged with guiding San Francisco’s efforts through the COVID-19 recovery to sustain and revive local businesses and employment, mitigate the economic hardships already affecting the most vulnerable San Franciscans, and build a resilient and equitable future. Finn joins other leaders from labor, non-profit, and business on the newly formed task force.

“I am honored to have been selected for this important position and will work to ensure that the voices of Local 856 members who have been affected so deeply by this pandemic are heard throughout the recovery process,” Finn said.
