Teamsters 856 San Francisco Zoo Stewards Corey Hallman and Steven Levitt met with Congresswoman Jackie Speier on Friday, December 12 to discuss improving employee-management culture at their workplace. Speier’s district includes the San Francisco Zoo.

The stewards, along with Representative Tim Jenkins and Political Director Trish Suzuki visited the Congresswoman as part of the Local’s political action program.

“We’re extremely appreciative that Congresswoman Speier took time out of her busy schedule to speak with us,” said Hallman. “We look forward to creating a workplace that encourages employee input to ensure that the San Francisco Zoo is as safe and enjoyable as possible for animals, visitors and workers alike,” he said.
